Happy New Year! After a successful December at all our properties, we’ve got cracking on our culinary plans for 2017. As is tradition, we’ve launched the 2017 GReaT Foodie calendar that shines the spotlight on unique cooking techniques and dishes from our treasure chest of recipes every month. With easy DIY videos, you can give our chefs a run for their money! Try the talwar kebab recipe this month and tell us how it turns out!
January is also the month that marks the winter harvest season, and what better way to celebrate than with traditional fare? Join us in saying ‘Pongal O Pongal’ and savouring pot-fulls of sweet Chakkara Pongal, rich Venn Pongal, plenty of sugarcane and a beautiful South Indian spread at our Regency by GRT Hotels properties in Kanchipuram, Tiruttani, and Madurai, at Bazaar at Grand Chennai by GRT Hotels, and at Water’s Edge Café at Radisson Blu Resort Temple Bay Mamallapuram. In other delectable news, we’re launching a brand new menu at Gingee, now a global street food restaurant at Regency Sameera Vellore by GRT Hotels. The restaurant will soon have an enticing a-la-carte menu offering everything you could possibly want – from Italian bruschetta and Samurai chicken, to English fish & chips and Thai curries.
