MARKETING EXECUTIVE


Job Brief

A creative-bent with a discerning eye for detail and the confidence to think differently. Must be well organized and diligently structured in their approach to any engagement.

Must-Have Skills

Marketing Communications, Online Marketing, Public Relations, Content Management, Brand Management, and Advertising Works with various company departments to promote the overall brand through social media channels.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate annual marketing plan to budget, in consultation with the Marketing Head, GM Sales & Marketing, Hotel GM and HODs.

  • Coordinates with Marketing team, Operations, Food & Beverage and Sales teams to execute promotions and campaigns targeting potential customers and in-house guests with promotions that drive incremental revenue to the hotel.

  • Acts as the liaison between the marketing department and advertising agency on the tactical advertising campaigns' creative and media plans, particularly for food and beverage promotions

  • Manages F&B media schedules and verifies prompt settlement of accounts.

  • Partners with property Revenue Management to verify advertisement targeting is correctly directed at relevant consumer groups

  • Executes email marketing, and display advertising as needed.

  • Verifies all advertising for the hotel in digital channels is in alignment with brand voice, and maintains all page hygiene.

 

Social Media Content Management

  • Plans social media engagement and promotion content along with agencies and Marketing team.

  • Develops and executes promotions campaigns for F&B, weddings, spas, rooms and conferences through relevant digital and social media channels.

  • Engages in proactive online reputation management by surfacing relevant guest comments (positive or negative) in social media channels and responding accordingly.


Public Relations and Visual Asset Management (photo and video):

  • Maintains a comprehensive list of local media contracts, with particular emphasis on food critics, influencers and bloggers.

  • Enable all press releases for property events, promotions, and outlets.

  • Manages the execution of hotel-sponsored events, community/government relations activities, and press promotional activities.

  • Supports pull through of impactful PR strategy & activities to drive quality press coverage through media engagement, in alignment with communications objectives.

  • Verifies the news clippings and other online, print, and social media mention reports are completed on a monthly basis for property distribution.

  • Supports the co-ordination of photography for F&B advertising, collateral and public relations purposes between the hotel, advertising agency and the unit teams

  • Manages photo shoots for seasonal or festive promotions in coordination with unit teams

  • Acts as the central point of contact for brands being handled to ensure all communication adheres to brand voice.


Tracking and Reporting

  • Ensure monthly collection and collation of marketing campaign ROI reports both online and from hotels, agency work report, influencer campaign reports and analysis with Marketing team.


Desired Experience

  • Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory

  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills

  • Good working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube business accounts and analytic tools

  • Working knowledge of design software – photoshop, illustrator and the likes

  • Working knowledge of MS office – Excel, Power Point

  • Confident, amicable and ability to persuade and influence

  • Self-starter with the ability to lead and own projects end to end

  • Attention to detail and concern for accuracy

  • Exposure to Hospitality industry in previous work

  • Excellent time management skills and multi-tasking ability

  • Excellent team player skills

  • Willingness to travel to other office locations
